Minimum wage from January 2027: CZK 24,900 a month, CZK 148.30 an hour
From 1 January 2027 the minimum wage rises by CZK 2,500. What it means for employees, DPP/DPČ agreements and part-time work.

From 1 January 2027, an employer may not pay less than CZK 24,900 gross a month for full-time work (40 hours a week). The hourly minimum wage will be CZK 148.30. This year the minimum is CZK 22,400, so the increase is CZK 2,500.
The amounts were announced by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Notice No. 171/2026 Coll. of 23 September 2026. They are based on the coefficient 0.446 set by Government Regulation No. 164/2026 Coll. For 2028 the coefficient is 0.458. The government estimates this at about CZK 26,900; the ministry will announce the exact amount by 30 September 2027 (Act No. 262/2006 Coll., Section 111(7)).
What it means for you

- You have a DPP or DPČ agreement: your pay per hour may not be lower than CZK 148.30.
- You work part-time: the monthly minimum is reduced in proportion to the hours worked (Act No. 262/2006 Coll., Section 111(6)).
