Clocks went back one hour on 25 October. Summer time will continue in 2027–2031
Summer time ended on Sunday 25 October 2026. The government has already set the clock-change dates for the next five years.

On Sunday 25 October 2026 at 3:00, summer time ended and clocks moved back to 2:00 Central European Time (Section 3 of Government Regulation No. 348/2021 Coll.). The night was one hour longer.
Clock changes will continue. Government Regulation No. 181/2026 Coll., effective from 1 January 2027, sets the dates for 2027 to 2031. It implements EU Directive 2000/84/EC on summer-time arrangements.
- 2027: summer time from 28 March to 31 October
- 2028: from 26 March to 29 October
- 2029: from 25 March to 28 October
- 2030: from 31 March to 27 October
- 2031: from 30 March to 26 October
In spring, clocks move forward from 2:00 to 3:00; in autumn, back from 3:00 to 2:00 (Section 2(2) and Section 3(2) of Regulation No. 181/2026 Coll.).
If you worked a shift on the night of 25 October that became longer because of the clock change, your set weekly working time is one hour longer this week (Section 4(2) of Regulation No. 348/2021 Coll.).
Tip for home: check the time on your thermostat, boiler and timers. Otherwise your heating may switch on an hour early or late.
